Setareh Maghsudi is a junior professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Technical University of Berlin. Her research is mainly focused on artificial intelligence, in particular, multi-agent systems and decision-making, as well as game theory under uncertainty, including their applications in different areas such as network optimization. Moreover, she is affiliated with the Einstein Center for Digital Future, whose main goal is to promote interdisciplinary research in various aspects of digitalization; In this regard, she organizes and attends workshops and events to initiate and to establish interdisciplinary research projects, for example, in the area of ethical and sociological challenges of digitalization. Besides, she is an associate faculty of HEIBRIDS Graduate School in Data Science. In this framework and in collaboration with Helmholtz Research Centers, she initiated two interdisciplinary research projects in the area of single-cell sequencing and remote sensing data analysis. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Technical University of Berlin in 2015, with the highest honors. Afterward, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and Yale University, USA, where the latter was financially supported by a fellowship awarded from the German Research Foundation (DFG). In 2018, she was a short-term visiting scholar at the University of Oxford, UK. In 2019, she was a short-term visiting researcher at the Alan Turing Institute, UK. In Summer 2019, she was a research fellow at the Kyushu University, Japan, supported by a fellowship from the Japan Society of the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Moreover, In September 2019, she was a short-term visiting researcher at Kyoto University and Keio University, Japan.
